The Shaki Support Center of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry is being reconstructed

An office building and auxiliary premises will be built within the framework of the Rural Areas Integrated Development Project implemented by Agrarian Credit and Development Agency and the environment will be upgraded.

According to AZERTAG's regional correspondent, at the groundbreaking ceremony, the chairman of the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency Mirza Aliyev said that in Shaki Dayak Station every year, 100-150 tons of original and high reproductive seeds are produced on average.

These productive varieties, resistant to the stress factors of the environment, adapted to local conditions, play an important role in the provision of high reproductive seeds of seeding farms operating in foothills of the Republic, in different foothills.

The head of the agency, Mirza Aliyev, said that farmers can not only be familiar with the variety in the pollinator, but also if they are exposed to the same environmental factors for their biological characteristics.

It was noted that to improve the quality of seeding activities, there will be a selection of seedlings and seed storage tanks, as well as a shed for the equipment. It is also planned to build a plant for the quality analysis of the grain plant and provide equipment.

Within the framework of the Agricultural Competitiveness Enhancement Project implemented by the Agrarian Credit and Development Agency, seed cleaning equipment was purchased at the base station and that equipment will be put into operation after completion of construction work.
