The implementation of the project "Scientists with farmers" continues

The next awareness-raising event was held in the southern region of the country within the "Scientists at Farmers" project initiated by the Center for Agrarian Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The event was attended by a research group consisting of employees of the Ministry of Agriculture, regional farmers, phytopathologists, agrochemists, entomologists and cultivation technology.

As part of the field demonstration, the amount of NPK (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) and pH in the soil was determined on the spot by specialists using a mobile mini-laboratory, and the fertilizer dose was determined and presented to the farmer. Director of the Agrarian Science and Innovation Center Imran Jumshudov, deputy directors Farman Karimov, Akbar Abbasov, head of the department Javanshir Talai said that the main purpose of the project is to support the implementation of the policy of proximity to farmers implemented by the ministry in recent years and In order to meet the needs of landowners for consulting and information services, to establish relations between scientists and them, to visit farms directly and assist in the implementation of measures in the field of agro-technical care, plant protection, zootechnics, veterinary and others. The main participants of the project are employees of 7 research institutes, 48 experimental stations and 9 regional centers of agrarian science and innovation operating under the Center for Agrarian Science and Innovation.
