The event was attended by representatives of the country's main macarony producers, farmers and representatives of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS.
Director of the Institute Faig Khudayev spoke about the role of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry in increasing grain production in the country, gave detailed information about local varieties and their advantages. Khudayev noted that the main goal will be to establish cooperation with macarony producers. Atif Zamanov, Deputy Director of the Institute for Production, the importance of the package of measures to increase grain production, Gatiba Hasanova, head of the Grain Quality Laboratory, informed the producers about the quality indicators of wheat varieties in pasta production, Khanbala Rustamov, a leading researcher at the Plant Breeding Department, about the production of durum wheat and new varieties.
Ilgar Ahmadov, a representative of the macaroni company, said they were interested in cooperating with the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry.
