A meeting was held with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation

A meeting was held with representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The representatives noted that ECOserve, one of the projects implemented by GIZ, is being implemented with the Ministry of Agriculture as the main partner. The project, signed in 2018 and lasting until November 2021, supports the implementation of environmentally friendly activities in agriculture to support rural development. The first of the 5 activities is related to data management, the second to legislation, the third to pilot activities, the fourth to education and training, and the fifth to regional exchange. One of the main goals of the project is to apply and demonstrate the world-famous experience "Good agriculture practice (GAP)" in Azerbaijan. During the meeting, Faig Khudayev, Director of the  Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, spoke about the identification of seed potential of interest to GIZ representatives, the application of the "Inter crop" method, the use of institute laboratories, water supply system, etc. They clarified such issues and discussed joint cooperation.
