Trainings on agronomy have started

With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and the organization of the British Embassy in Azerbaijan, trainings on agronomy will be held on 10-13.03.2020. The main purpose of the trainings is to further improve the skills of trainers involved in the application of pesticides, fertilizers and biological fertilizers, and to inform farmers about the latest innovations in this field.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilhama Gadimova said that in recent years, the state has expanded measures to support the agricultural sector in the country.

The trainings involved qualified specialists of subordinate bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture, employees of research institutes, as well as representatives of organizations providing consulting and information services.

Director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry Faig Khudayev and other employees of the institute participated in the trainings. After the training, participants were invited to a reception at the residence of British Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp.
