Demonstration sowing of local and introduced varieties of fodder plants was carried out in Tartar

The Research Institute of Crop Husbandry and the Tartar Regional Center for Agrarian Science and Innovation jointly organized a demonstration sowing of local and introduced varieties of fodder crops (alfalfa and hay). The purpose of the demonstration is to acquaint farmers in the region with the mentioned fodder crops, as well as to organize future seed production of varieties and samples that differ in high productivity and quality. "Celtic", "Central", "Premariacco", "Claudio", "Marmilla", "Mixed (clover)", "Saatli", "Aghstafa-1", "Yemchilik-16", "Absheron", Local and foreign forage varieties such as "Aran", "Khasha" (AZNIKLP-495) were sown. According to the sowing time, other fodder crops will be sown in the second and third decades of April, respectively. In the future, it is planned to demonstrate to farmers both local varieties and varieties introduced from abroad.
