Online training on "Information on the system of measures to be taken for rapid and lossless harvesting of grain crops"

On 22.05.20, Deputy Director for Production of the Institute of Crop Husbandry, Ph.D. on biology, Associate Professor Atif Zamanov, held an online training on "Information on the system of measures to be taken for the rapid and lossless harvesting of grain crops." He clarified in detail the issues of bringing the machine-tractor fleet to full working condition, to create a reserve of perishable parts in order to ensure the constant working condition of the equipment to be used, to disinfect and fumigate threshing floors and warehouses by thorough cleaning, plow the edges of the fields as a safety precaution, to fill temporary irrigation ditches for grain transportation and combine harvesters in irrigated areas, to provide approbation by controlling the cleaning of species and varieties in seed fields, to organize the adjustment of combines in the field in order to ensure the normal threshing of the spike during harvesting and to minimize grain breakage. A.Zamanov noted that when the combine passes from one variety to another, it should be thoroughly cleaned and run idle for 15-20 minutes, then 700-800 kg of the newly harvested variety should be removed by mowing at least twice and this harvest must be reflected in its act, the truck must be carefully cleaned so that the varieties and reproductions do not mix when the grain is transported. For safety reasons, field should be plowed a few meters after mowing a part of the field, to ensure that there is a tractor connected to the field during mowing. In order to pay special attention to the area around the green strips, it is necessary to plow several paths between the forest protection strips and the field. Measures should be taken to ensure that reproductions and varieties  are not mixed in the thrashing floor and warehouses, and that the cleaning of the seed crop should begin with the low-yielding crop and continue towards the high-yielding. During the cleaning of the seed product, 100-150 kg of seeds should be removed from one variety to another. During the cleaning of the seed product, 100-150 kg of seeds should be choose defective products when removed from one variety to another. After the seeds are completely cleaned and treated, 1 label should be placed in the bag and one should be sewn on top. For original and super elite seeds, stickers should be drawn on a white background with a sidewise pink line, white for elite seeds, blue for R1, and red for R2. Labels must contain the name of the plant, variety name, reproduction, year of production, name of the drug used in the treatment, name, address and telephone number of the manufacturer. Purified seeds in the warehouse should be collected separately by reproduction and variety. Both in the field and in the threshing floor, it should be ensured that there is a medical bag with the necessary first aid kits.
