A meeting with a professor of Tabriz University was held at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry

On 04.02.20, a meeting was held at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry with Seyyed Mohammadi, Professor of the University of Tabriz, Islamic Republic of Iran. At the meeting, the director of the institute Faig Khudayev noted that there are extensive relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of scientific research of plants (rice, wheat, etc.) under the mandate of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Professor Seyyed Mohammadi, who works in the United States and India, conducts research at the molecular level on the development of drought-resistant varieties of wheat and corn that contribute to global climate change. During the meeting, Mr. Faig suggested that the institute's specialists observe the experiments conducted by Professor Seyyed Mohammadi. The professor proposed to conduct trainings on selection in Azerbaijan. At the end of the meeting, discussions were held on the topic.
