Demonstration sowing of local and introduced varieties of fodder plants was held in Saatli and Goranboy districts

The Agricultural Research Institute of the Agrarian Science and Innovation Center of the Ministry of Agriculture demonstrated local and introduced varieties of fodder crops (alfalfa and straw) on the farms of farmer Aliyev Igbal Adil in Saatli and Fataliyev Mazahir Ilyas in Goranboy. The purpose of the demonstration is to acquaint farmers operating in the region with these fodder crops, as well as to organize future seed production of varieties and samples that differ in high productivity and quality. Local and foreign fodder plant varieties such as "Celtic", "Central", "Premariacco", "Claudio", "Marmilla", "Mixed (clover)", "Saatli", "Agstafa-1", "Yemchilik-16", "Absheron", "Aran", "Khasha" (AZNIKLP-495)"   were sown. In the future, it is planned to demonstrate to farmers both local and imported varieties.
