A monograph on "Physiological basis of drought tolerance of wheat" has been published

A monograph entitled "Physiological basis of drought tolerance of wheat" was published by Tofig Allahverdiyev, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology of the  Research Institute of Crop Husbandry and Irada Huseynova, Vice-President of ANAS.

The monograph examines the effect of drought stress on morphological, physiological, agronomic indicators of local and introduced hard (introduced Triticum durum Desf.) And soft (Triticum aestivum L.) wheat genotypes, identifies physiological and agronomic features related to high productivity and drought tolerance under drought stress was dedicated.

The monograph is useful for researchers working in the field of plant physiology, biochemistry and selection, and can also be used as a teaching aid in the relevant departments of higher education.
