Pupils of the school №188 of Sabunchu district were excited at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry in connection with the 90th anniversary of academician Jalal Aliyev

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 22, 2018 on holding the 90th anniversary of Academician Jalal Aliyev, in the plan of activities carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, periodical excursions to the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry will be organized for schoolchildren to get acquainted with academician Jalal Aliyev's museum and memorial room reflecting his heritage, scientific heritage, life and creativity. For this purpose, the 6th, 7th, 8th and 10th grade pupils of Sabuncu district, secondary school № 188 and teacher of the school, Ph.D. Irada Ibrahimova was present at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry in connection with the 90th anniversary of Academician Jalal Alirza oglu Aliyev. Javanshir Talai, Director of the Institute, welcomed the pupils with their attention and care and welcomed them and said that this visit to the institute would give a deep impetus to the lives of students and play a great role in shaping scientific world views. J.Talai noted that the prominent scientist, well-known public figure, active member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Honored Scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences Jalal Alirza oglu Aliyev was born on June 30, 1928 in Nakhchivan city and nowdays is celebrating his 90th anniversary. He reiterated that the scientific achievements of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry so far have been linked to the name of academician Jalal Aliyev. J. Talai informed the schoolchildren about the history of the Institute of Agriculture ET, Jalal Aliyev's scientific activity, and once again pointed out that J. Aliyev demonstrated the world's intelligence, science, culture, morality and gained valuable theoretical results is a prominent scientist in the field of biology and agrarian science, who contributes to the treasury of world biological science. Then, with the participation of the Institute's staff, under the leadership of the Director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, the pupils visited the fields of "Plant Selection", "Plant Physiology and Biotechnology" departments and here Tofig Allahverdiyev, head of department, Doctor of Biological Sciences gave detailed information about the plants included in the mandate of the institute, cultivated varieties and researches. During the excursion to the 90th anniversary of Academician Jalal Aliyev, the students visited the museum reflecting the scientific activity of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Here, pupils learn about the laboratory equipment used by J. Aliyev during his internships, his participation in exhibitions and conferences in the country and abroad, his meeting with foreign guests, laboratory work conditions at Gusarcay Regional Experimental Station, and his wheat varieties. The pupils also paid special attention to the scientific-research work carried out in the Laboratory of Grain Quality. They they gained knowledge with the laboratory equipment, work process, quality of the laboratory by Gatiba Hasanova,php on agrarian science, head of department. Pupils tasted of bread made from wheat varieties created by the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Then the pupils visited the Plant Physiology and Biotechnology department and laboratory headed by J. Aliyev for many years. Here Tofig Allahverdiyev acquainted pupils with laboratory equipment, working principles of devices, spoke about scientific research carried out here. Teacher of the secondary school №188 Irada Ibrahimova thanked the director of the institute for the excursion, J.Talai, and noted that he would do his best to inform the students in the preparation of agrarian specialists. 7th grade pupils Abbasova Zahra, Ismayilova Anam, 8th grade pupils Aleskerli Zahra, Aliyeva Zahra, and 10th grade pupils Rustamov Ilahi, Aliyeva Narmin, Aliyeva Sevinj, Tanriverdieva Giymet and others excellence on 90th anniversary of academician Jalal Aliyev emphasizing that they have gained scientific knowledge, expanded their knowledge and expressed their gratitude to the director of the institute, Javanshir Talaya and the whole staff.
