On 27.06.2018, there was held an event dedicated to the scientific and scientific-organizational activity of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Shabnem Mammadova, Advisor of Minister of Agriculture and Vugar Babayev, General Director of the Agrarian Science and Information Counseling Center and other guests attended the event. They visited the "Grain Quality" Laboratory and Gen Bank, a museum that reflects the history of the institute. Gatiba Hasanova, Head of laboratory,PhD on biology. gave detailed information about the high quality bread baked wheat varieties raised by the institute. Javanshir Talai, Director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry welcomed the guests and talked about the duties of the institute in terms of scientific provision of food security of the country. Then he made a full presentation reflecting the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. It was noted that institute are cooperating with international organizations of SIMMIT and İKARDA. Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture Mrs. Shabnam Mammadova addressed to J.Talay with her questions. In his speech, Mammadova expressed satisfaction with J. Talai's full presentation and touched upon the issue of priorities and proposals. She also noted that the feasibility potential should be determined and new proposals should be provided. He also underlined that a more flexible infrastructure is expected to be set up. He said that we have to mobilize our power to succeed in the agrarian field. Sh. Mammadova noted the existence of scientific potential at the ET Institute and expressed her desire to cooperate with the institute and listened to a some  proposals from researchers. V. Babayev shared his positive opinions about the RICH and Speaking about the upcoming tasks, he emphasized that the ultimate goal should be farmers, producers. By applying new technologies with the support of SIMMIT, we have to commercialize our business and work together effortlessly. The event ended with constructive discussions.
