Employees of the Institute took part in the scientific-theoretical conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of academician Jalal Aliyev

On 30 June 2018, there was held scientific-theoretical conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of academician Jalal Aliyev at the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University in Ganja. 3 employees of the Institute took part in the scientific-theoretical conference. Opening the conference, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Ibrahim Jafarov, gave detailed information about the role of academician Jalal Aliyev in the development of biological sciences in Azerbaijan, the creation of new fields and the preparation of scientific cadres. Then, Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnologies of ANAS, Ph.D. on agrarian sciences, Associate Professor Ch. Mammadova and head of Laboratory of Biochemistry of Photosynthesis, Dr.Sh.M.Bayramova made a speech. They informed about modern scientific research led by academician Jalal Aliyev. Associate Professor T.I.Allahverdiyev, Head of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology Department at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, informed about academician Jalal Aliyev's tense and productive scientific activity beginning in the 50s of the last century in the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Deputy Director for Production at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, Ph.D., Associate Professor A.Zamanov, Deputy Director on General Affairs, Ph.D. Sh.Ahmadov shared his memories with participants of the conference. At the conference, the employees of the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS, the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University shared their impressions about academician Jalal Aliyev.
