Employee of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry participated in a training seminar in China

Jumshudova Humay, Junior Research Fellow of the Plant Selection Department at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, participated in a training seminar on "Biotechnology of Agriculture" held in Pekking, Shenzhen, Luohe, Tianjin, China, on June 5-25, 2013 in the province of Kuzhou, Handan. Training seminar was organized by the Economic Trade Advisory Services under the Embassy of the PRC in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Agriculture of the PRC, PR China, National Agro-Technological Release and the National Agro-Tech Extension and Service Centers (NATESC). Representatives from 53 countries were also present at the event. At the seminar, local experts discussed lectures on the development of biotechnology in agriculture in the People's Republic of China, its priorities and its management. Also, Jumshudova Humay also took part in workshops on paddy, corn and wheat cultivation during the seminar. She has also taken an active part in extensive discussion sessions on the sampling of soil samplie, agrochemical methods of analysis, and the work done on a unified and open database based on soil sampling and soil analysis results in the field of analyzed soil samples. Extensive discussions were held between soil analyzes at the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry and the similar and different methods between the analyzes in those laboratories. Participants of the seminar visited other regions of the People's Republic of China after Pekking. They visited 8 agricultural crop analysis laboratories, 1 agricultural college and 2 agricultural higher education institutions during their stay. The participants of the workshop were familiarized with the activities of the seed bank, including the methods of storing and storing seeds. There were also presentations on stress seeds of agricultural crops which are the sustainable on diseases and pests, as well as including abiotic factors. Along with this, Jumshudova Humay, who had a close relationship with the teaching staff and the teaching staff, discussed the future prospects of cooperation between them and the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. During the seminar, she delivered a presentation about Azerbaijan, its agriculture, science and education. The presentation caused the participants' interest.
