The employee of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry participated in an international seminar in Turkey

Hamid Nuriddin oghlu Hamidov, employee of the Gobustan Regional Practice Station at Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, participated in a mobile seminar held on 24-29 June 2018 in the framework of the International Program on improving winter wheat international program (IWWIP). The purpose of the event was to get acquainted with the activities of the representatives of different organizations participating in the event and participation in the selection and co-evaluation of embryonic plasma and the exchange of experiences. Along with Azerbaijan, 50 people representing Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Russian Federation, Spain, and Turkey participated in the seminar. On the first day of the seminar, a ceremony of familiarization took place. On the same day, at the experimental station at the Central Plant Certification Institute, Haymana, 40 km from Ankara, the field experiments were reviewed and evaluated. On the second day of the workshop, the field experiences were reviewed at the Agricultural Research Institute in Eskisehir and information on the work done on the program was given. On the third and fourth day of the seminar, Bahri Dagdas International Institute of Agricultural Research in Konya first presented physiological parameters of wheat selection and their experimental methods in the selection of wheat plants, and the measurement of chlorophyll, plant cover temperature, plant assimilation surface areas in various fields of practice, collection of dry biomass in vegetation the dynamics were demonstrated and theoretical and practical knowledge was given by foreign experts in this area. There were also presentations on the work of the creation of the selection of drought and heat-resistant wheat varieties. As a result of the seminar, participants were awarded with an international certificate.
