Zagatala Regional Practice Station of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry held training seminar on "The Basics of Cultivation Technology Providing High-Quality and High-Quality Harvesting of Plants (Tobacco and Corn) Plants"dedicated to 90th jubilee of academician Jalal Aliyev. Academician J. Aliyev was remembered with a minute of silence. Atif Zamanov, deputy director of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry talked on Academician J. Aliyev and his work in institute and the objectives of the institute set out in the State Program for the Development of tobacco industry in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2017-2021, have a positive impact on the reliable supply of food products to the population due to the scientific results obtained in the Agricultural Research System and innovative activities , the importance of corn plant in reprocessing and other important issues. Nabi Karimov, director of  Zagatala Regional Practice Station on the strategic objectives identified in the Strategic Roadmap. At the training workshop, Bahlul Abbasov, leading researcher at the Department of Sustainable Agriculture and Plant Diversification of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, organized a seminar on the theme "Scientific-based organization of demonstration and sowing of new regionalized and promising tobacco varieties"; Sevindik Dunyamaliyev, head of maise program talked on"The main technological factors and the organization of seed production that provide high yields of corn plant"; Imreli Hajimammadov, Head of Laboratory "Soil and Plant Analysis" Laboratory, talked on "Economic value of determination of organic and mineral fertilizer norms for cultivation of tobacco and corn plants"; Gabil Kazimov, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Sustainable Agriculture and Plant Diversification, said: "Application of progressive methods of cultivating high quality products from tobacco".At the end of seminar, there was discussion on theme.
