On 18.01.2019, there was held memorial event on “martyrs of 20 January are heroic episodes of independence and freedom of the Azerbaijani people” in Research Institute of Crop Husbandry. Javanshir Talai, director of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry opened event with his welcome speech and the memory of the 20 January martyrs was remained with a minute of silence. J.Talai talked about the bloody January. 20 January has shown the potential and right of the Azerbaijani people to succeed in any sacrifice to protect and liberate their lands, to build and maintain a strong and powerful state. Then a film was shown about the 20January tragedy. Sevil Abasguliyeva’s recitation dedicated to the martyrs of 20 January; the 20 January poem of Asmar Hasanova, displaced from Lachin region; appeal of Sevda Hajiyeva, displaced from Khojaly was listened. Then, the other employees of institute made a speech about 20 January, they shared their heartfelt words and sad memories. At the end of the event, Javanshir Talai, the director of the institute stated that the memory of our martyrs will always live in our hearts, the occupied lands will be liberated, and our territorial integrity will be restored. Our country will develop forever.
