The employee of institute took part at traning course that was held in Morocco

On 17-27 April,Mammadova Sevinj Mehdi gizi, senior research fellow, PhD in biology, assistant professor of "Grain quality" laboratory of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry took part at “Strengthening Continuity between Protection and Use of Genetic Resources” international training course In Rabat city of Morocco that was organized by the Agricultural Research International Center(ICARDA) along with representatives of the countries of Central and West Asia, North Africa(Azerbaijan, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, India, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia,15 people). There was held traning course about the agrobiodiversity importance, genetic resources of wheat, barley, peas,taxa team concept, best practices about Genetic resources protection, to collect symptoms information on Genetic Resources for breeders(FİGS), barriers on interbreeding between species, cytogenetic approaches on interbreeding between species, the method of allocation of the embryo,initial selection of wheat, pulses, barley, greenhouse and field work for the success of the initial selection. It was gaven more information about initial selection stages that was for use of the Genetic Resources, all the activities about any selection type in the desired sign or towardsIdentification and improvement of genes in non-adaptive (exotic), as well as in the adapted materials; abiotic stresses, research of selection criteria for the quality, research on virulence and the enrichment of selection, heredity, genetic resources and plasma cells for sources of strength and socio-economic research in accordance with the requirements of users.
S.M. Mammadova showed presentation about "Azerbaijan Genetic Resources" on initial selection and of country experiences, successfully completed the course and finally was awarded an international certificate.
