There was held scientific-practical seminar about the grain-grower in Tartar region
On 9th June, there was held scientific-practical seminar about “New varieties of grain cultivation and progressive cultivation technologies. Demonstrate the advantages of resource-saving cultivation technologies in irrigation” by Agrarian Science and Information Counseling Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, State Service for Agricultural Projects and Credit Management under the Ministry of Agriculture, Research Institute of Crop Husbandry and the Tartar Regional Practice Station. Relevant bodies of AM, 50 farmers from different region and from Tartar took part at seminar.
Rasul Balayev, director of Agrarian Science and Information Counseling Center greeting seminar participants, gave more information about the importance of the implementation of issues related to the development of grains on agrarian area that was noted on Strategic Road Map on the production and processing of agricultural products in the Azerbaijan Republic.
Mehman Babayev, head of the Tartar Region Agricultural Department gave more information about special place of grain-grower on crop structure of Tartar region, a great deal of cotton-growing in recent years and achievements. Also, specialists on Research Institute of Plant Protection and Technical Crops, specialists of the National Aviation Academy, who are co-operating with the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry made a speech and gave more information the results of joint scientific research work.
Javanshir Talai, director of Research Institute of Crop Husbandry made a speech about "Potential productivity of fresh cereals in irrigation conditions and factors affecting it", Hagigat Hashimova, director of Terter Regional Experience Station made a speech about “Studies conducted at Terter Regional Experience Station within National and International Selection Programs”, Mazahir Rzayev, head of the department for sustainable agriculture and plant diversification made a speech about “advantages of the new resource-saving progressive technologies in the grain industry” and Imrali Hajimammadov, head of Institute Soil and Plant Analysis Laboratory of Institute made a speech about the Determination of fertilizer norms for cereals based on general agrochemical indicators of soils.
After the reports, the questions of the seminar participants were answered appropriately. The workshop continued with its field demonstration.
