A training seminar was held for farmers

Employees of the Institute Rasib Zeynalov and Latafat Hasanli took part in a seminar on "Importance of fodder plant varieties in increasing fodder production" within the project "Organization of demonstration plantings of fodder crops for livestock development and promotion on farms" implemented by the Agricultural Research Institute in Sheki region. The seminar participants were informed about the role of fodder crops in providing livestock with abundant and high quality fodder and the preliminary results of the project implemented for this purpose. The difficulties of farmers in the field of fodder production and ways to overcome them were discussed. During the discussions, the questions of the meeting participants were clarified and recommendations were given on the cultivation, timely harvesting, supply and storage of fodder crops.
