The yield of grain in the fields was estimated

Within the framework of cooperation agreements between Shakir Musayev, a resident of Girili village, Agstafa region, and Faig Khudayev, director of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry and Atif Zamanov, deputy director of production, Agstafa Agrarian Industrial Complex inspected the fields and assessed the yield of grain. Specialists also assessed the condition of autumn grain crops at the Agstafa Auxiliary Experimental Farm belonging to the institute.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views with farmers on the possible impact of non-December weather conditions on crops, especially the creation of favorable conditions for rodents, measures to combat high levels of infection and made relevant recommendations.

In general, the owners of farms were informed about the constant attention to the phytosanitary situation in the fields, the implementation of preventive measures, as well as the application of chemical control only if the economic harmfulness of the infection exceeds the threshold.
