Training on "Integrated pest control: wheat, barley, cotton and alfalfa"

In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the framework of the program "Protection of ecosystem services for natural resource management and sustainable rural development in the South Caucasus" (ECOserve) "Integrated Pest Control: wheat, barley, cotton and alfalfa" An online training was held on the topic.

The main purpose of the training was to inform the participants about pest control methods, the current situation and approaches in the country in this field, to get acquainted with the classification of pesticides (WHO, international conventions, high-hazard pesticides, EU registered), wheat, barley, cotton and alfalfa diseases.

The training was attended by representatives of relevant government and public organizations working in the field of pest control, agricultural advisers, as well as employees of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry Namella Azizova, Sevil Abbasgulieva, Shamama Karimova, Esmira Hajiyeva.

During the training, theoretical knowledge and practical experiences were shared, as well as interactive discussions and surveys were organized.
