The first special session of the Governing Board of the International Treaty was held

Leading scientist of the "Quality of grain" laboratory of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry, Ph.D. in biology, Associate Professor Sevinj Mammadova  took part in the First Special Session of the Governing Council of the International Treaty which consists of 148 countries and including the European Union for Plant Genetic Resources (BGE) for Food and Agriculture in Italy.

The first special session of the Governing Board of the International Treaty was convened out of turn Global Information Systems, providing access to more than 2.3 million PGR, Multilateral and access to PGR information for equal use of revenues, ensuring the protection and sustainable use of PGR  and protect farmers' rights
